Freestanding pergolas can be specified from around 3m × 3m up to roughly 7m × 4m as a single bay. Larger installations use multiple bays coupled together — there's no practical maximum for commercial spaces.
Sizing depends on wind loading, snow loading and post positions. We'll spec the right structure at survey.
