The battery powered wind sensor mounts on the inside of the front rail and constantly monitors awning movement. If the awning exceeds the set level of vibration or movement, the awning retracts automatically.
A mains powered wind sensor will be wall mounted in an unobstructed location and measures the wind speed via a small wind turbine. Retracting the awning when the set speed is reached.
