Aura Awnings · Retractable awnings
Retractable Patio & Commercial Awnings
Made-to-measure electric and manual awnings for gardens, terraces and outdoor seating, with designer Dickson fabrics and professional installation.
Flexible shade for homes and businesses
A retractable awning gives you shade over a patio, terrace or pavement seating area at the touch of a button, then folds neatly away. From compact balcony units to wide commercial spans, we help you choose the right model, fabric and controls.

Common questions
Electric or manual?
Most customers choose a Somfy motor for convenience, especially on wider awnings. Manual winding handles remain available on many models.
What size can a retractable awning be?
Depending on the model, widths can run to several metres with projections chosen to suit your space. We confirm the best size at survey.
Can I use it in the rain?
Dickson fabrics are water-repellent and cope with light showers with the right pitch, but awnings should be retracted in heavy rain and strong wind.
Do you fit commercial awnings?
Yes. We supply retractable awnings for restaurants, cafés, pubs and shops, with optional branding. Try our commercial revenue calculator for outdoor seating ideas.
