Can an awning be fitted to a bungalow or single-storey home?

Yes — single-storey homes usually need custom brackets to lift the awning above the doors and windows.

On a single storey installation we must use spreader brackets as these spread the load of awning down the wall, rather than all the force pulling on the top part of the wall.

We supply and fit these as standard when you tick single-storey on the estimate.

During the site survey we will assess any doors or obstacles to ensure that the brackets set the awning at the right height so it clears the top of any doors or windows below and gives full projection when open.
